Organizational Culture Workshop
Our Organizational Culture Workshop, offered both remotely and onsite, is the first step toward becoming accredited in Organizational Culture Inventory® (OCI®) and Organizational Effectiveness Inventory® (OEI).
Quantify organizational climate and culture to drive engagement and performance
Learn how to describe and evaluate culture and to initiate and monitor organizational change with the most widely used culture survey in the world, the Organizational Culture Inventory. Facilitate the change and development process by assessing factors that lead to and result from the Constructive and Defensive styles assessed by the OCI. Do so with our Organizational Effectiveness Inventory, which measures dimensions of organizational climate and provides feedback that connects these factors to the OCI styles.
”Whether you refer to it as organizational culture, work culture, corporate culture or company culture, our OCI and OEI training event will provide you with invaluable culture change expertise and insights.” Our climate and culture assessments, as well as our workshop, are designed to be relevant not only to business organizations but also to professional partnerships, not-for-profit and charitable institutions, as well as government agencies. Plus, our workshop provides credit hours that can be applied toward organizational culture, coaching, and HR certifications.
Using interactive, experiential learning techniques, the Culture Workshop will prepare you to:
- quantify organizational culture and climate in order to initiate and track data-driven organizational change;
- utilize our “How Culture Works” model (introduced in the highly regarded Handbook of Organizational Culture and Climate) to guide your organizational change initiatives;
- interpret and debrief the statistical information presented in the feedback reports;
- align the OCI and OEI results with the organization’s value statement, mission, vision, and goals;
- compare current operating and ideal culture profiles, analyze disconnects between the two, and identify the most important culture gaps–that is, styles along which behavioral norms (current culture) need to be brought into alignment with organizational values (ideal);
- make connections between OEI causal factors and the high priority OCI culture gaps and outcomes of interest to the organization;
- implement levers for change to reduce Defensive styles and strengthen Constructive styles and, in turn, improve performance;
- establish protocols for monitoring change, adjusting levers, and reinforcing individual and team achievements with respect to development.
